Learn moreRepair or replace?
If the panels and anchors are still sound, most walls can be repaired: seams sealed, voids filled, caps rebuilt, anchors added. Replacement starts to make sense when panels have cracked through, the wall leans along most of its length, or the same wall keeps needing repairs. A rule of thumb many contractors use is that once a repair approaches half the price of a new wall, replacing it is usually the better buy. A written inspection makes the call easier.
